From the article, and spot on with my thinking: The Negro Leagues should never be forgotten and should stand on th...

Re: Negro League stats

In terms of integration versus segregation in professional football as it relates to the NFL, the overall timeline can be divided into the following periods: • Pre-NFL (18xx – 1919) • First Integrated NFL (1920 – 1933) • Segregated NFL (1934 – 1945) • NFL Reintegration (1946 - 1961) • Second Integra...

Re: Negro League stats

I don’t see anyone in this discussion saying that Otto Graham’s AAFC statistics shouldn’t be considered alongside his NFL statistics, but lots of folks are saying Negro League statistics shouldn’t be considered alongside MLB (separate American and National leagues, BTW) statistics. Do we lump George...

Re: What's the biggest football moment you witnessed in person?

The Greatest Comeback in NFL History Saturday, December 17, 2022 US Bank Stadium Minneapolis, Minnesota Down 33-0 at halftime, Kirk Cousins leads the Minnesota Vikings to a 39-36 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in overtime. Biggest surprise (even bigger than the comeback) was the fact that very ...

Re: Kirk Cousins (R.I.P. Vikings career?) - How did he do?

What do you see as a mechanical problem? If you feel the ball comes off his hand in a funny-looking manner I would agree but that's not really a mechanical problem. Re: Kirk Cousins (R.I.P. Vikings career?) - How did he do?

Good call on McCarthy, RC ... Meanwhile, Atlanta has had an interesting off-season, turning down Belichick for Morris, giving a bunch of money to Cousins, who now has to win games while mentoring the #8th overall pick in the draft in QB Penix ... I dunno Yup, there was something about McCarthy's &q...

Re: Kirk Cousins (R.I.P. Vikings career?) - How did he do?

Whats your opinion on Diggs, RC ? Diva receiver, regular season star, misunderstood, easily frustrated when not getting the ball? Would he have been better off never leaving the Vikings, or inevitable? You'll remember that Randy Moss had a hard time playing, too, when he wasn't getting the ball. I ...
