Re: Have we hit rock bottom with NFL uniforms?

I liked their post 1996 uni's. Looked like a nice marriage of the old 9ers and Raiders uniform. Why they got rid of it...who knows.
I think their 1996-2013 unis were one of the best in the league.

Re: 1970 realignment questions

Its amazing that the Cowboys ended up in the East just by a 1 in 5 chance. Looking at these, it probably would have made the most geographic sense to go with plan 1. Maybe swapping the Lions and Vikings though.

Not to mention the new Bucs are an absolute joke.

Re: Are the Oakland Raiders considering a move to San Antoni

Maybe the Rams and the Browns should swap cities? We would have the return of the Cleveland Rams and the football version of the St. Louis Browns. hah! cool idea. I was thinking something similar in the NBA until New Orleans changed their name from the Hornets to the Pelicans. I was thinking that U...

Re: TECHNICAL HELP

You could do a screen capture of the open folder of files. But that would just give you an image of all the file names. Not the text of the file names themselves. Not sure if that helps.

Re: 1970 realignment questions

Cool history. Thanks! Also, the plan that was chosen was the only one that had Minnesota, Green Bay, Detroit and Chicago in the Central division. Weird... one would think this grouping of 4 teams would be impossible to break up! But almost a half century of hindsight might be making me think that. T...

Re: Past season predictions

I can't remember any off the top of my head other than last year was the first time I correctly predicted the Super Bowl matchup before the regular season started. Seahawks over Broncos. For what its worth, that's my pick for this year too. I remember before the 1991 season almost all the pre-season...

Re: ridiculous password requirement

I agree. I decided to start mine with a capital letter, and end with a ! Seems like it would be fairly easy to remember that way.

1970 realignment questions

I have some questions about the 1970 merger realignment and late 60s NFL divisional alignment. First, I know there were a bunch of ideas thrown around as to how the new look 1970s NFL would break down divisionally. Does anyone know what some of the ideas that were scrapped were? I know that the 2002...

Re: '69 Lombardi vs Noll, Shula, Landry

Most likely Knox with the Bills or Seahawks since Noll and Shula were both AFC coaches.
