Former 49ers broadcaster (and father of Dan), Bob Fouts, died on Sunday at the age of 97. He died just four days after another Niners broadcaster, Don Klein:

"In 1972, Michaels began a 10-year stretch as head coach of the Jets"--Never mind that he didn't start until 1977.
He did get screwed over by Weeb Ewbank and the Jets when Charlie Winner (Ewbank's son-in-law) got the HC job in 1974.

When Walt Michaels became the Jets head coach in 1977, it was written that he had been passed over for the job twice.
