Sam Rutigliano won UPI's AFC COY in 1979 & 1980. His Browns lost to the Raiders in the 1980 & 1982 AFC Playoffs. So it's Rutigliano and Allie Sherman (1961 & 1962 UPI NFL COY/0-3 in NFL Championship games).

Damn, I noticed that Rutigliano had been a UPI award-winner twice, but I didn't consider him because I thought the snow game when Sipe threw that interception was the AFC conference championship, so the Browns had already won one playoff game to get there. Oh well.

Surprised Rutigliano won in 1979 considering his team lost it's last two games to miss the playoffs. Especially losing to the Bengals, who had three wins going into the final regular season game. They did have a rough schedule though, playing many quality teams ... I would have voted for John McKay or Bum Phillips.

Heard this one on the radio....only one franchise in the Super Bowl era has drafted 3 QBs that have gone on to win the Super Bowl. Name the franchise.

It doesn't usually happen, but this one came to me right away. It was Tampa Bay, and the quarterbacks were Doug Williams, Steve Young and Trent Dilfer.

Super Bowl Era means '66 and on?
So Unitas, Dawson, Bradshaw, and Big Ben doesn't count?

Does this constitute and obscure trivia question?

This team allowed 3 kickoff return touchdowns over the span of an entire decade...all three kickoff return TDs were scored by the same opposing player. Name the team, the decade and the player.
