John, do you feel Graham is deserving of the HOF?

My favorite guy in this regard is Bill Karr, who caught 9 passes for the Bears in 1935 for 220 yards and SIX touchdowns. Same ratio as Graham and others, but 50 percent more catches and TDs.

I could do that search...I cut if off at 6 because that was what Graham has, but most TDs, ten or less receptions has a ring to it

I probably agree John on Graham but its close. He has the stats but was never the same after leaving Drew Brees. According to the PFR HOF index, there are only seven tight ends ahead of him that havent been elected or eligible yet but that index is weighted and subjective. Like former huge receiver, listed tight end Vernon Davis, just not enough clutch plays and consistency, though Grahams TDs are impressive.

This is actually a respectable all-around statline for 1935. Seems very different to this, they were mostly long TDs and Graham's are one yarders.

Graham for HOF is a close no for me as well. Kind of a Todd Christensen career. I'm pretty sure he was fairly useless as a blocker as well.

I would like to know if a similar list can be do for running backs. Off the top of my head I remember when Raiders RB Zack Crockett scored a lot of 1-yard TDs from 2000-2003 with few carries. And of course the 1979 Chargers-Raiders TNF game when Booker Russell scored three 1-yard TDs in his only three carries of the game.

There's this famous game in which Jerome Bettis had 5 carries for 1 yard and 3 TDs.

Tommy Vardell had 18 carries, 37 yards, 6 TDs for the 1998 Lions.

One I remember is Reggie Evans in his only season for the 1983 Redskins, 16 carries, 11 yards, 4 TD. The 16 carries was the record for fewest with 4 TD until 2018, when James Develin of the Patriots scored 4 TDs in 6 carries for 8 yards.

Darrell Young over two seasons scored 6 TD in 21 carries for the 2013-2014 Redskins.

Montell Owens of the Jacksonville Jaguars scored 2 TDs on his only two carries in 2008. Owens was a special teams gunner who would play for nine seasons. This was his third season and the first one he got any carries. He gained 43 yards on his two carries. I am assuming the first carry for 41 yards came on a fake punt. Owens would eventually start a few games at RB and score one more touchdown. He also made two Pro Bowls as a gunner, and scored two touchdowns in those games, one recovering a fumble by Devin Hester, and one on a pass reception.

Edit: I looked up video of Owens' two TDs in 2008. The first did come on a fake punt. The second was a 2 yard TD against the Colts on a Thursday night game. The latter is interesting because Owens' TD is incorrectly identified by announcer Bob Papa as being scored by Chauncey Washington. Maurice Jones-Drew was the Jaguars' starting RB, and Washington had carried the ball twice previously on this drive. Since Washington wore #34 and Owens #24 it's perhaps understandable that a mistake was initially made, though it becomes more embarrassing when the sideline camera is clearly showing Owens while Washington is still referred to. The mistake isn't corrected until the broadcast comes back from commercial. Washington would wind up with 5 carries in his NFL career that spanned 4 seasons and 9 games. He never scored his own touchdown. Wonder what his friends and relatives thought.
