Re: 2024 Hall of Very Good Nominations

Ahmad Rashad, WR Rashad --- the 'nearly perfect receiver" ... maybe not that but skill set and eye test to me have him worth a nomination When I collected Topps cards as a kid, it seemed like every year I got a Rashad card and every year he had "All Pro" or "Pro Bowl" liste...

Re: 1991-92 World League

Re: 1991-92 World League

Re: 1991-92 World League

Are you still going to put together a 1992 WLAF packet like you did for the 1991 season? Very much interested in that. I presume you have the same games as I do, essentially complete collection of what's available -- I recorded (VHS) games myself at the time (1992) but I've seen those same games &qu...

Re: Something dumb that you remember about watching the NFL

According to Wikipedia the Tuck Rule was only started in 1999 and was used against the Patriots earlier in the year. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuck_Rule_Game The Vinny T call his arm was moving forward. The Billy Joe Hobert one fit the definition where he was actually bringing the ball back int...

Also was impressive that he did it twice -- timeout on first attempt.
