Re: BREAKING: contributor list down to 9

I like the conversation around Doug Williams in Canton. Tough to define him as either a contributor or a senior, which clearly the Hall struggled with this year as he is in both. But there are two ways to look at his case. First is that he was the first Black QB to start and win a Super Bowl, a hug...

Re: BREAKING: contributor list down to 9

If the NFL is still in a woke stage, then Burl Toler would be a much better candidate than Doug Williams. When this category was initially revealed, I thought it was just going to be a vehicle for the owners to enshrine each other in the HOF. Kind of pathetic. Adams and Modell are two of the most re...

what college QBs did you consider "can't miss" prospects over the years?

The first time I heard a QB was a "can't miss" prospect was John Elway in 83. Since then, here are guys who I would put in that category:

Troy Aikman
Peyton Manning
Carson Palmer
Andrew Luck
Trevor Lawrence
Caleb Williams

Re: 1991 NFL season - expectations, retrospect...

I used to have VHS tapes of NFL Films "Hungriest Men of the 90's" volumes 1 and 2. Kind of interesting who they predicted to be the stars of the 90's...from what I remember they had features on: Neal Anderson Charles Mann Randall Cunningham John L. Williams Guys who got a mention were Bubb...

Re: Leading the league in primary volume stat and primary rate stat

Meanwhile, Anthony Richardson is somehow sitting last in the NFL in both passes per game and completion percentage. I assume QBs who play like this typically get benched, but have we seen other instances where someone maintained this for a significant stretch or until they got benched? Kind of the ...

I remember Mercury Morris averaging something like 6.4 for the 73 Dolphins.

Re: Three surprises (and one note) on the 12 PFHOF coaching list

There are no coordinators in the HOVG either. Is that an accident, or copying the HOF? If the latter, I think this is our cue to nominate some. I agree with this. The HOVG in general should be more innovative...it shouldn't just be the 'second tier PFHOF', IMO. Coordinators and position coaches sho...
