I don't think the NFL is going to do a top 100 list. They were affiliated with the Top 100 that the NFL Network & NFL Films came out with several years ago.

Has anyone heard about a possible 100th Anniversary all time team?

Yeah, the West definitely had more of the all time greats during the sixties.

The Sporting News named All-Eastern and All-Western Conference Teams in 1969, not All-NFL Teams

Their East Cornerbacks were Cornell Green & Pat Fischer; the West Corners were Lem Barney & Jimmy Johnson. I think you are referring to the New York Daily News selections.

Stallworth was a reserve in the Pro Bowl for the 1982 season. The game was played in '83. That's where the snafu comes from. He was named a reserve-didn't replace anyone.

Maybe they'll cop out and name the 100 greatest players. That's what the NBA did with their 50th Anniversary.
