This QB had his first 300-yard passing game take place in his third season. His second career 300-yard passing game took place 9 years later. He would end up with 11 career 300-yard passing games. Who am I?

I'm thinking it's someone who started his career in the late 60s or early 70s which would explain 10 of his 11 300 yard games coming this late in his career... after the 1978 rules changes.
