Paul Krause's interception record

Post by JoeZagorski »

Hey Guys:

I need your help. Minnesota's Paul Krause broke Emlen Tunnell's career interception record of 79 on December 2, 1979. The Vikings lost to the Rams that day, but Krause intercepted two passes in that game, his 80th and his 81st. Does anyone know in which quarter(s) Krause made his interceptions on that day? Thanks for your help.

Sincerely,

His first pick came on the last play of the first half and was thrown by Vince Ferragamo, and the second pick came on the second-last play of regulation when he picked off former teammate Bob Lee at the Viking 14. The Vikes ended up losing 27-21 in OT.

Is this the game where Cromwell ran in a fake punt for a TD?

And Bob Lee had to come in for an ineffective Vince Ferragamo to start the second half for the Rams.
